Caleb's First Day of First Grade!

August 23rd is finally here and that means time for my little, I mean "big boy" to head back to school! Only this year it's time to hit the BIG 1st grade.

That's right..."Kindergarten was sooo last year."

Country Celebrity at Newschannel 6

So today I got to meet a Texas Country Celebrity!


Take a look at Brandon Rhyder.
He was on the Noon Show today and although I knew he had hits on the radio, I wasn't aware of how popular he is until my friend, and co-worker, Lindsey Rogers informed me! Ha!
So then WE BOTH JUST HAD TO HAVE A PICTURE WITH HIM!! :) Of course!!

Well I just had to share the photo that Daniel took for us, yes Daniel!! What a great hubby!! I think he also took the one of me and Kirk Cameron!! haha!

So there we go another "Celeb" picture to add to the album!! ;) LOVE IT!!

Mommy's Girl in New Shoes!!

So I had to show you all Chloe's NEW SHOES!!

I love love love them!! I was told they are called "Toe Blooms"! Precious!!

Trying to get an 8 month old to show off her feet is not easy!! HAHA!

So daddy helped! Then he quickly moved his hands as I snapped away!! :)

Weekend of FUN in FRISCO!!

Mini Family Vacation!! Part 1

Thursday we loaded up and headed to FRISCO!
It was a packed weekend, and sooo much fun!!
Here we are on the road!!

First stop!! Aunt Tasha's school! She teaches 1st grade and we got to see her class! IT'S DARLING!! Safari theme and looks like it belongs in a magazine!

She even had a special prize for CALEB!

Lots of goodies to get him ready for his year as a FIRST GRADER!!

Next stop LUNCH at Palios!! It was so good!!

Then it was on to Frisco Fire SAFETY TOWN!!

I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!

So cute and FREE! This was a great stop for Caleb! The Fire house has hands on activites for the kids!

It also has an area for them to try on the "gear" and climb in a truck! Plus a Tornado and Fire safety stop.

But it's not just for the kids!!

We all put on the gear!!

Then it was time for the "FUN PART" as Caleb put it!

That's when they let Caleb drive the Jeep!! This was awesome! It's truly a kids DREAM!! To DRIVE!!

They had a little town with streets and working lights!! SO IMPRESSED!

It had sensors so it knew when the drivers were approching!

It also had a toll tag area! although being from W.F. Caleb wasn't sure about that! :)

They even had a TV station! :)

But the church completed it all for me!!

After the HOT but FUN drive!! It was time for ICE CREAM!! Yogurt really, with LOTS of SWEET toppings!! YUM!!!!
