Happy Birthday Aunt Cyndie!!!

Just wanted to wish my Aunt Cyndie a Happy Birthday!!She is a pastors wife in Austin, and is BEAUTIFUL inside and out!! :)

Aunt Cyndie is so much fun and always has a BIG smile on her face!! She also makes the BEST pancakes with yummy treats inside!! Spend the night at her house and she spoils you rotten and fills your belly!! :)

I wish they lived closer but I know they are doing a mighty work of God, with the people in South Texas!! But I LOVE it when they come to visit!! :) So here's wishing you a day and weekend full of BLESSINGS Aunt Cyndie!! You deserve the BEST!! I know we aren't all there to CELEBRATE with you, so please eat some EXTRA cake for us!!! HA! Seriously!

Dinner in Bed! :)

Ok so we really didn't have dinner in bed, but we did go bed shopping and have dinner! ha!! I just thought it was a cute title!

The bed isn't for us, it's for Caleb because he is literally with out a bed!! Seriously! We sold his bed on Craigs List! BUT IT WAS SOOO TIME !! The bed was WAY to SMALL!!


The good news is it sold fast, but now he is sleeping in a tent in his room! Poor thing! Oh who am I kidding he LOVES it!!
The other piece of good news is WE FOUND a NEW bed!! It's being ordered though and will not be here for 4 to 6 weeks! But Ashley's Furniture is giving us a loaner twin bed until it comes in! Yay!! I am waiting to show off what we picked out until it comes in! :)
Here we are again shopping! Chloe was being so cute!
They even had a section for Caleb to play video games while we shopped! LOVE that chair he is in!!!
But the BEST part was at the very end! Every time you buy something you get to BANG the GONG!
After that we headed to eat with Pappy & Granny!! We love to go out and eat and spend time with them so we were SUPER excited! We got to pick so I told Daniel to pick a place he really wanted to go!! Even if I didn't. And he picked...GOLDEN CORRAL!! ha!! He has been wanting to go there since we started dating!! So funny! It was SUPER yummy though!!! I love the variety, but I ALWAYS eat too much! ha! I also LOVE that you get dessert!!
Plus the yummy rolls with honey butter!! And I am not alone!! ha!! It was a great meal with wonderful family!! :) Thanks Pappy & Granny!
After it was time to head home! Chloe has been playing with her babies lately! LOVE THAT!! So I decided to put together the push stroller that Santa brought her! It was a little big when she first got it, but Santa knew she would "grow" into it! And she finally has, so I had to share how much fun she was having!

It plays music!! Chloe loves that part the best!

1st Grade Field Trip Time!!

Thursday was field trip day for the 1st graders at Caleb's school!! :) Caleb knew Daddy was on vacation this week so he told his teacher his Daddy was coming on his field trip. Then his teacher informed us!! ha!!!! That's the way to do it Caleb! ha!!

The day started with them at the school by 8:15!! Here they are ready to leave the house! :)
Here are the buses, lined up and ready to go!!
First stop was On The Border!!! My FAVORITE place!! YUMMY!! Here they are getting a tour of the restaurant!! They were there around 9 before it opened so it was just the workers and a lot of CURIOUS 1st graders!! :)
In the FREEZER!! I think they were COLD! :)
Then it was time to grab a seat and hear about all of the fresh fruits and veggies, they use to cook with everyday!

Then it was time for a snack! :) That's what I'm talking about!
Tasty Cheese Quesadillas and French Fries for everyone!!
Then it was time to leave and head to the 2nd stop of the day!! :)Which was at First National Bank!
Time for another exciting tour!! First the safety deposit room!! :)
And then it was time to check out the drive-thru bank tellers window!! I used to work as a drive-thru teller!! It was such a FUN job!! :)
Then the nice lady talked to the kids about savings!! She said you can spend your money but be sure to set some aside for savings. (Tithes too!!) :)
After that it was time to head to the park for lunch and PLAY TIME!!
Caleb even picked me a sweet pink flower!! LOVE IT BUDDY!! Thank you!!!

After playing at the park for a few hours they headed back to the school around 1:45 and wrapped up by 2!! But they also got some TREATS from the places they visited!! Daniel got this shirt from On The Border and Caleb got this cup, coloring book & colors!! :)
Caleb also got a bag from the bank! :) Too bad it didn't come with MONEY! ha!! :)
A fun day full of many memories!! Well it's time to watch the ROYAL WEDDING!! :) So fun!! Prince William & Catherine Middleton AKA"Kate"!

1,800 Eggs!!!!

I have finally made it to my Easter morning and day blog! YAY!! I want to share the amazing story of the 1800 eggs that came in at the church!!!

But first a look at the WONDERFUL goodies the Easter Bunny left!! :) Starting with Caleb's treats!
And Chloe's!!
She loved the cinnamon graham cookies left in the eggs!!
After the bunny it was time to get ready for Easter Service!! After all it's not just about eggs!! As Caleb says it's about Jesus who arose from the dead!!! :) I LOVE it when kids tell you what it's truly all about!!!
Here's Caleb & Chloe before church! Doesn't he look handsome! He picked this out himself!! Tie, shirt and all while we were shopping!! LOVE IT!! He is growing up!!

We also got a picture of Chloe and her friend Grace in their new Easter dresses!! Chloe is showing grace the Bunny on her dress! :) BFF's!!
After their Bible lesson, the kids in our church always have an annual egg hunt! And let me tell you how great of a job the congregation did this year bringing in those eggs!! We have about 60 people on average, give or take, and nearly 100 in attendance Easter Sunday!! PRAISE JESUS!

And we had, GET THIS, 1,800 EGGS!!! WOW!!
Now because of the rain we had to hide the eggs INSIDE, but I think it actually worked out for the best! They were hidden in 3 classrooms and a large open area where we have dinners! :) Here's a group of the youth, my Mom, & Cindy. It took all of us to hide them!! :)

Such a GREAT day at church with family and friends, but most of all PRAISING Jesus!! He's Alive and on the THRONE!!!

I mentioned in an earlier post that after church we went to my Grandad & Grandma's for Easter Dinner and I had to show off the BEAUTIFUL table!!

Looks great huh!! :) The meal was just as FABULOUS!! :)
