Fun At The OKC Zoo (Part 1)

Going back a little in time to Day 2 of our mini vacation!! :) We loaded up that Saturday Morning and headed to Oklahoma City for a FULL Day!!

Here's a look at all of us in the car on our way!!



Our first stop was the Oklahoma Zoo!! And the kids got in FREE!!
Here we are at the Entrance!! Ready to go!!

Caleb LOVED the map and held it and studied it for most of the day! :) Directing us where to go!

The first thing we saw was the Giraffe! Man I forget how TALL they are!!

We also saw the ELEPHANTS!!! And they were in this AWESOME set up!! They had a whole area, that was a fancy set up just for them! Here it is!

The had a BABY elephant in between them!! Soooo cute! The song that kept going through my head was Barney's ELEPHANT!! Over and over and over! ha!! I was even singing it out loud!! Smile and sing, if you know what I am talking about and if you don't, well count your blessings! ha!!

We also saw lots of neat birds including a Road Runner which is behind Caleb in this picture! :)

It was sooooooo hot that morning! We went in the morning but this heat is bad. So we stopped in all of the little air conditioning areas! Thankfully many of the animals had AC areas! This one was a mini movie. Couldn't even tell you what it was about but man it felt good in there! Caleb took this pic! ha!

Then it was time to check out more animals!! :)

Mr. BEAR!!! He headed straight to that cool water! :)

His friend "brother" was fast asleep!! Covering those eyes from the BRIGHT sun! ha!

This area had another indoor place and Chloe was LOVING the water fountain! ha!!!

And the SNAKES!!!!

Yikes!!!

But that's not all she LOVED!! A look at the animal she went nuts over and more fun at the Zoo with Caleb to come!! So be sure to check back!!

House For Sale

No it's not my house up for sale, but my Mom & Dad's house!! Today was the FIRST official day on the MARKET!! Here it is on the web! The house is BEAUTIFUL so if you know someone looking to buy PLEASE check it out!! It's a 2 story and 2 of the bedrooms are up stairs.
My parents are just looking for something all on the same floor.

I wanted to show it off because I LOVE it!

Singing For Jesus!!

During Praise and Worship Practice Sunday Miss Chloe found the MIC!! :) And LOVED it!!! But for different reasons! ha!
Chloe LOVES music and dances all of the time!! So cute! So I just knew she would LOVE chatting and singing into the mic!
Well really she just loved banging on top of it! ha!!!
Who knows maybe we gave another FUTURE Praise singer in the making!! :) Or drummer! ha! :)
After all Psalm 98 tells us it doesn't matter how...singing, instruments, shouting...just MAKE A JOYFUL noise unto the LORD!!

Chocolate Cake For My Hubby!!!

So me and my hunny were watching TV Saturday afternoon and for some reason we were watching the Food Network, or one of those Food Channels! ha!


They were baking up some DELICIOUS treats, and so I said...I want to BAKE something!!!!


Daniel said seriously??! and I said YES, what should I make?!!


That's when he asked for a YELLOW CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE FROSTING!!


Yes he said CHOCOLATE frosting!! YAY, Iam wearing off on him!!! HAHA!!

I said YOU GOT IT BABE! He even offered to get the ingredients!! :)
Then it was time for me to get to work!! :)
BLEND!! Oh and here is the BEST part! Oh you know.... licking the bowl and the metal blender parts!!

And it was soooo cute seeing MY kid LOVE to do what I did as a kid!!
Then it was time to POUR it into the pan!!

Thank goodness for my MIL Sue, she let me borrow her two 8" round pans. I only had one! ha! And I have no idea what size it is! I bake cookies all of the time but cakes, well I think this is a FIRST! Daniel is hoping it won't be the last though! :)

Time for the OVEN!!!

35 minutes later...THEY ARE PERFECT!! AND SMELL YUMMY! After they cooled down it was time for the icing!! And here is the finsished product!!! And it was sooooo sooooo GOOD!!! :)
