My Papa, To Leave That Kind Of Legacy

Nichole Nordamen's song Legacy has ALWAYS touched my heart and made me think about the life I live, and how my kids and generations to come will remember me, or even think of me.
But listening to it the other day I realized there is already a PRECIOUS Legacy, recently left behind, by a special man who is now Dancing for Jesus.
My Papa! A Grandfather, Husband, Father and Ordained Minister of The Assemblies of God for 57 years! Wow!
He was also an Identical Twin! Which still fascinates me!

This is the FAMOUS Tippit Boys Football picture!
Here are the lyrics from the Legacy song chorus that my Papa, Leo E. Tippit,81, truly lived! It's mixed in with some sweet photos that I recently came across.

I want to leave a Legacy. How will they remember me?

Did I choose to love?

Did I point to You enough to make a mark on things?

I want to leave an offering.

A child of mercy and grace,
who blessed Your Name unapologetically.

To leave that kind of LEGACY!
I am truly blessed to come from such a strong Christian lineage and to have so many wonderful Godly men and women in my life. Many have left the legacy behind while others are picking it up and carrying it out for future generations. I love you Papa.

"Well Done My Good And Faithful Servant." Matthew 25: 21
Blessings & Love, Ashley
